Firebird

A new collection devoted to the legendary ballet Firebird. It takes us back 100 years to the premiere of one of the most important ballet productions of Sergey Diaghilev’s Russian Seasons.

The collection’s creative objective was artistic mastery of a traditional folk plot, stylistics and fairy-tale feeling, as if a miniature jewelry theatre. Mastery challenge is the main plot – expressing airiness, subtleness and smoothness of dance in jewelry, reproduction of movement, pattern of dance and its choreography, as a means of telling a story of dreaming about a precious feather, a symbol of wealth, good fortune, prosperity and luxury.

Long hanging earrings with pendants, massive rings with large stones, a balance between strict geometry and complex stylized forms – all of this submerges us into the aesthetics of the Art Deco era. It’s a combination of ideas, design and mastery almost lost in our times. Silver with black rhodium-plating, quartz, citrine and green agate – these are all quotes, jewelry dedications, not direct copies of costumes of a famous ballet. Rich matt tones of semi-precious stones in a silver frame tell a story preserving the original aesthetics, but at the same time creating something new through jewelry metamorphoses.

Dance and jewelry have a lot in common: expression of movement and sound can, similarly to the glitter of facets, stir up a storm of emotions. Emotional delight will only remain in your memory, while a piece of jewelry will stay with your forever as an interpretation of a classic caught in silver and precious stones.
